My name is Ryan Timmons.
I am employed by Audible, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, as a Software Development Engineer. I live in New Jersey now but was born and raised in Seattle.
I graduated from the University of Wasington in June of 2009 with a degree from the departments of Computer Science and Mathematics.
Before graduation I was employed by the Department of Learning and Scholarly Technologies at the University teaching a series of Web Publishing workshops. I also did an internship at Cisco on the Linksys By Cisco team.
In my free time, I like learning new programming languages (I’m currently reading up on Scala). I also enjoy playing the piano and the guitar (with little success at either).
